Nira Liberman
My research area may be broadly defined as the interface between motivation and cognition. I study the relations between psychological distance and mental representation, and the effects of psychological distance on prediction, evaluation and choice. I also study motivational processes in though suppression, cognitive and meta-cognitive processes in OCD and the effects of regulatory focus on evaluation, choice and perception of uncertainty.
